The operational problem
A disruption can create a cluster of passenger-compensation cases. Legal teams need to assemble records, understand the case context, and prepare consistent drafts while retaining responsibility for legal judgement. Repeating that assembly across a large queue is the task we set out to support.
A controlled path through the evidence
The intended workflow starts with a case package: disruption details, operational records, claim information, and supporting documents. Those inputs are organised into a consistent structure, matched to a defence category, and used to produce a structured first draft for EU261 or UK261 review. Missing evidence should trigger a request or escalation rather than unsupported facts.
What exists today
LAWRA has a working specialised-model MVP, private fine-tuned model weights, and custom training software. Intake normalisation, defence classification, structured generation, and a human review workflow form the current foundation. Evidence mapping and airline-specific adaptation are pilot capabilities; production integrations and a full audit trail remain planned work.
Legal judgement stays with the team
Generated drafts require review and approval by qualified legal professionals. Lawyers remain responsible for the final argument, legal judgement, and filing. A controlled pilot is scoped around case categories, data boundaries, review requirements, and agreed evaluation criteria before any expansion.
